Grinder Project

grinder1I have finished my grinder with several changes.

  1. I have added a plate to spread the pillow blocks as I did not like the extra side torque placed on the drive shaft.
  2. I added a handle on the tension arm for bette control for changing the belts.
  3. Being a construction welder, I welded the grinder together after bolting and running to make sure that everything was lined up and tracking properly.

I have prints for this grinder if anyone is interested.

Hi All!

It’s that time again, the time to volunteer your services to the group.

After years of service Harry Heuer will be stepping down from the treasurer’s position.  We want to offer many thanks to Harry for his service.  We would also like to fill the vice president’s position to allow Mike to focus on the newsletter.
