Southern Tier Meeting at Benjamin Patterson Inn
Pics are from the meeting at which the BPI hosted a Blacksmith Day. Ten Southern Tier members, on two portable forges as well as the Cooley Blacksmith Shop. BPI members and families attended in period dress. There was also a horseshoe tournament with prizes and good stuff to eat.

Hey all, over the past year we have been looking into cleaning up the group logo to more correctly reflect the smith’s arm.
Here are images of the original and two options for you to vote on. Please leave comments if you have any. You can also add any alternatives you think of.
Southern Tier Monthly Meeting
This will be a demonstration and hands on . Bring your favorite hammer
and tongs, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Some tools will be available to
those that do not have them. If you have items to sell there will be a tent
for display hosted by the better halves of some of our members. Also
food will be available for sale.
If you plan to attend and demonstrate something please advise

Demo at Mahany Welding
Candy and I will be demonstrating at Mahany Welding Supply’s annual open house this Saturday (June 10th, 2011). We encourage you to stop by. John Rausch will be there as well as one of our newest members, Joe Cummings.
